Inspiration: Mike Tompkins

Twenty three year old Mike Tompkins grew up in Ilderton, a small town outside of London, Ontario, Canada. At the young age of 8, Mike started beatboxing, the beginnings of an increasing passion for music. During his high school years, Mike performed in a variety of professional musical theatre productions. Mike graduated with the vocal music award from high school and continued on to post-secondary education at the industry renowned Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART). In 2008 Mike graduated from OIART with a diploma in music production, receiving honours distinction and two awards.


Over the past 10 years, Mike has kept a demanding and diverse schedule of musical and production pursuits, including production, engineering and mixing of numerous albums (Juno nominated artist Shad K’s “The Old Prince”).


Mike had never thought of releasing any of his own music; however at the beginning of 2010, his drive and determination to do something ‘different’ (just like his determination to one day grow a beard), led to his most recent venture, creating unique A Capella music. His cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”/Bruno Mars “Just The Way You Are” shot to over 2 million views in under a month. First time i saw his video, i fell so in love with him. He is incredibly awesome. I love the way he covering the songs without any music instrumen. And he did so good. All of his videos are funny, i love his expression. My favorite video when he covered Teenage dream and Just the way you are. 2010 and 2011

Oh my Godness, it's end of December, and also end of 2010. 5 days left to New Year!!
It feels like yesterday, i just celebrated new year with friend.
What do you planning on for new year's eve? Hanging out with friend or your lovely one, spending time with family, fireworks, or just watching Tv at home? Hahaha just kidding.
Those are sounds great. I haven't prepared about new year's eve. It seems i would spending time at work.
But i dont know, some friends of mine already had a plan.

And i wanna say, Thanks God for all you've done to me.

This year, i got a lot of happiness, experiences, laugh, sadness, and other.
This year, i tried new experience. Trying produce my own money. Worked with other. Being professional, and independen women.
This year, i was turning nineteen. And my friends gave me the best adorable birthday ever. How sweet.
This year, i was fall in love with the guy i shouldn't fall in.
This year, i can filled my requirements with my own way.
This year, makes new friends, failed at classes.
This year, Indonesia was crying. Disasters are everywhere.
But overall, 2010 was being so nice with me. Thanks for my God :')

Gave some friends a blast surprise birthday. I'm such surprises maker, i also got mine.

Brought an iPod touch 4th Generation.

For this, i spent almost all of my money. But it really useful for me. Rescuing me from boredom.

Last year, i didn't make a resolution for next year. I let time go on by its way. But i decide, i should make a resolution for next year.

 In 2011, i have to be a better human. Stoping all of my bad habbit. Be a nice daughter. Graduate college as soon as possible. Go around Indonesia. Out from this house. And many other.

 So guys, what's yours? Hope 2011 will be my year!

I'm back on Christmas

It's been ages, peeps! How it's going?! I know i'm such a bad blogger, last post was around September, but it's already December. Wow, Happy Christmas Break peeps! I'm really excited about Chirtmas. Although I'm  not celebrating Christmas. Christmas is beautiful, twinkle lights on, trees, candies, gifts and the others. And snow. I never ever seen the real snow in my entire life. My country has no winter season.
My auntie is celebrating Christmas and that's why i know about those stuffes. We come to visit her every Christmas. Candies and cookies are everywhere. They're also have a small christmas tree.

new Ipod Touch

I'm saving my money for this!!!!!!!!!!!

New iPod Touch with Face time, Retina display, HD Video Recording and Game center.
How cool is that? It costs US$229 for 8Gb, US$299 for 32Gb, and US$399 for 64Gb.
Hmm... Fortunately, new iPod touch is unavailable in Indonesia yet. Maybe, end of year. It gives me several months for saving more money :B

Actually, i needs a new cellphone, not an iPod but this thing is a way cool!

I spent my big Islam day at work. With big payment of course. It doesnt matter, i'm saving for a new iPod, also new laptop hihihiiiiiii

Nineteen

August 22 - Yesterday was my birthday. I was officially nineteen years old. And as last year, my birthday coincided with fasting month. Just can't believe it. It's ramadhan again, it's my birthday again. Sometimes, i feel like lost my time.
Yesterday also was g-r-e-a-t ! I got two surprises this year! At first from my work-mate also with boys from high school. And second from my best buddies.

I got my job back. So it means back home late again. Just a day before my birthday, my work-mate also my high school friend turned nineteen. Let me says ' Happy Birthday, Ikhsan. You're getting older. I mean us. ' He is on August 21.

I'd been prepared a little surprise for him. Me and other work mates gave him a spongecake. But that wasn't the surprise. We threw him with some eggs and wheat flour. My friend even poured him with dirty water. Ewww poor him. Actually i was the brain of all of it. I know he would avenged. And i was right, he came to our work place. Actually, he shouldn't because he took a day off. He already had a plan. And poor me, his friends of our high school friend also came. Of course not for celebrated my birthday, but ask treating to Ikhsan hahahaha. But it got worse for me.

My work mate gave me a pudding cake as a birthday cake with nineteen's candle. That candle i used to Ikhsan birthday 24hours ago hahahhaha. They greeted me of " HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DESSY! " and ... plok! One of them threw me with an egg and the other come afterwards. My highschool boys also threw me with a dirty water after rain. It was disgusting! And continued with jogging in the night. I tried to chase them, i wont be the one who got wet. But i didnt get even one of them. My irresponsible highschool friend left me after messed up. Great!
I was all wet, stink, and chilled. Didn't bring any dry clothes but Ikhsan borrowed his.

Fortunately, they didn't take any photo. But Ikhsan's photo above was describing me enough.

At the night, my best buddies come to my work place to gave me the second surprise. They brought a cake an greeted a loud chorus. And with a silly face, i claped hand as they did. That was sweet, my name was written in the cake. After blew and slice the cake, suddenly Epi took off my eyeglasses and i dont know who, dabbed cream of cake to my face. Huhuuuuu i love them so badly.

Lastly, i want to thank you all for the wishes, attention, and greets. I hope our wishes come true. That was the sweetest birthday i've ever had. Thank you so much, dutchiesssss! Love you so much, you guys means a lot for me! <3
Dooohhh, Next year going to twenty! Noooooooo, two-headed age.

New Born

My bunny has given birth new two babies.
As i told you in previous blog, she got 6 babies, but they all were dead :(
When den of June, she got new babies. I didn't even know she was pregnant.
And again, only 2 babies can survived until now. Here they are ...

Haru Matsuri 5

Last weekend I came to Japan Festival which is call Haru Matsuri 5. It has been 4 months since the last time I visited this silimiar event. I used to visit Japan Festival very often, but now I’m not. Just come if my band will perform. Not too interested anymore.
The weather was so hot and bright. That was a right time to stay at home with a fan and cold watermelon. But show must go on. Situation at backstage was also uncool. Hot, stale, and small. And we almost late. So I have no time to took any picture. So I give you some backstages photo in a past perform.















Our performance wasn’t bright as the sun. There’re some problem with Daniel’s guitar and the beat. And suddenly, the bright sun was changed by cloudy. It was rain when we felt save in dressroom.















And the interested one is the mineral water which is from committee. Umm… at least interested for me :) That merk! Remembering me with someone.





Okay, i have 2 reasons why I would like to spent my time in Japan festival:
Firstly, Rosemary marian. I’m manage. I should accompany them and photographed.
Second, Takoyakiiiiiiii!!! Takoyaki is a kind of Japan snack. A flour and egg ball with octopus inside. So yummyyy, you guys should try it!
